This teaser was the first test for how Filou would move and the colors that would be utilized in the village. As look development has progressed over time however, it turned out that this style of painting and cleanup is not really at all the target for the final look. Additional concept art can be found in the artwork tab.

This is a lip sync exercise using the audio from the famous Madame Leota portion of The Haunted Mansion recording. I did this in Harmony, all hand drawn.
This is a head accent exercise using an audio clip from Young Frankenstein, played by Gene Wilder. The idea was to create good character acting without the use of the mouth itself. I did this in Harmony, all hand drawn.
This is a lip sync and acting exercise using audio from I Know What You Did Last Summer. The idea of this exercise was to change the tone by making the body language counter the dialogue. With this clip, it's a police officer who sounds rather confident that the body of a murder victim would turn up, but in truth he's hiding the body in his own trunk. I did this in Harmony, all hand drawn.
This is the animatic for my senior thesis film as of 2/10/2018. The story revolves around an orphan girl named Filou who longs to escape her tiny rural village. Being a child however, she can't make the journey alone. When the Autumn Festival comes around, she decides her only way to finally leave is to go into the forest in search of Bois Mort, a legendary creature that passes through the valley every year, and ride it somewhere new. The forest is large however, and it seems she may have bit off more than she could chew.
